Centenary vineyards
The “trossos” (plots of land) are centenary farms. They are between 90 and 110 years old, and are where Carignan and Grenache are grown. They ensure we have an exclusive must for our selections.
The environmental, orographic, sunlight and altitude conditions surrounding them are enviable.
Their slopes are impressive to see, and don’t allow for mechanised work, which obligates people to have an intimate and exclusive relationship with them.
Young vines
These farms are supplemented by others, chosen for their quality among the oldest and most famous in the villages of Porrera and Torroja, all cultivated by farmers who work on a regular basis with the winery.
Early on, and to further guarantee the complexity of our wines, Celler Vall Llach planted a series of vineyards with grape varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah and Viognier.
These varieties perfectly complement the traditional Carignan and Grenache vines from the various plots.
